The Camp Board has enacted a Weekly Prayer Initiative for our state. This was introduced at the Pastor's Retreat in January and it will be our focus at the State Convention in July. Each day of the week we have a Prayer Directive that covers our basic needs for Camp Boothe. The Book of James tells us "the prayer of a righteous person has great effectiveness." Prayer changes things and prayer changes us. These weekly prayer initiatives have been placed on a beautiful magnet, to remind us to pray for Camp Boothe. We want every household to have one and plan to give them out at our retreats and State Convention. Prayer is one of our core values and it will be the key to reaching the young harvest and developing leaders.
