"Feed Your Roots" Season 5 Retreat

If you are between the ages of 19-30 you are invited to attend a weekend retreat for young adults @ Camp Boothe. This event "Feed Your Roots" will be centered around relationships and personal discipleship.

DATES: January 15th - January 18th

This will be held on MLK Jr. Birthday Weekend (no work, no school on Monday the 18th). Registration will begin at 4:00 p.m. on Friday the 15th.

COST $60 [includes lodging, meals & special events)

SPECIAL GUESTS include Dr. H.E. Cardin
and David James Ministry Team.

Our main focus will be on spiritual aspects, but we trust that it will also reveal to each of us the enjoyment of deepening our relationship with the Father as well as each other. There will be a time of worship & ministry, as well as a time to hang out in the coffee bar, paint or play football.

I am the vine; you are the branches. If a man remains in me and I in him, he will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing. John 15:5

Outreach Camp 2009

We are having a great time at Outreach camp. Last night we learned that if we are part of God's kingdom we will have protection from our Father.

We love playing games - don't let us catch you with your elbows on the table you just might have to lick the wall!!!

We love to play games from the youngest to the not so young.

The cooks are great!!! We have had the best food. This is our cooks in a cooks parade.

We have had an great time today. It started with fun and ended with an awesome move of God in the baptismal service. Praise God for a wonderful camp. These photos will show the rest of our story for Discovery Camp 2009.

Check out yesterday's water war! The staff used the element of surprise but the campers quickly retaliated.
Campers are excited about today's activities. Inflatable water slides are going up, a cookout/picnic is planned for lunch, and tonight's banquet will be followed by a special baptismal service. Stay tuned for updates!

As for the young men's cabin, clean cabin today goes to Mark Williams and helper Ben Shook (top left)--way to go campers. The top right picture awards Casey Rogers, helper to Dewayne Smith, the dirty cabin plunger for the day. The bottom right picture captures a special award given to helpers Ethan Terrell and Casey Rogers. These two got caught trying to impact Bro. Williams winning clean cabin. To the delight of both workers and campers, these two get to sport the pink plunger for the day---otherwise used for girls' diry cabin award. Way to go guys!!!

Tuesday's Blog Discovery 2009

Clean cabin winners today are left runner-up Christa Mojica....way to go!!!! Left host clean cabin winner Vickie Johns. No dirty cabin winner today for the young ladies....Way to show how it's done.

Discovery Camp 2009-Monday's Activities

God has given us beautiful weather today. Campers are having loads of fun. Remember us all in your prayers. Thanks to all teachers (John Paul, Darlene, Darla, and Andrea) for allowing the Lord to use you to help others learn through his word. There were 6 saved in class today.

Young ladies clean cabin today goes to Nancy Lawson. Congrats to you 10! Dirty cabin award goes to Christa Mojica. Garbage bags for the 5 of you!!!! Young gents clean cabin award goes to Adam Wade. Congrats to all 12 of you!! Dirt cabin award goes to Michael Ford. Garbage bags for all 9 of you!!!

Today's sunshine brings out the team competition spirit.

The strategy is supposed to be getting the water in the blue barrel. Think anyone else got wet?

These are getting pumped for competition.
